ok,so I have a new job, at Nrodstrom. It's going pretty well. Anniversary sale starts today, come visit me!!! It's a commission based job, which is neat, because I'm very success drive. right now, I beleive I'm making about $25 an hour. And I haven't even been there a full month yet. on my second day, I was the #4 top seller in the whole store, and then Tuesday, I was the #10 top seller in the whole store. yayness. workin hard.
Work kept us tehre til 11:30 last night. that would be fine, if I hadn't already worked from 9:30-3:00, and then returned at 7:00. boo. I got a cute dress at Ross tho, while I was waiting to go back. I have been looking for a long, casual summer dress for a while. so yeah, long day, super tired. we were there setting up for today's sale. I got free $100 pants tho, yay.
KT I will require your pirate expertice soon. For the first day of harbor days, I'm singing the national Anthem and I need to dress like a pirate. hahahahelp.

thank you so much for the birthday wishes. I really appreciate you guys, seriously. My birthday this year was probably the worst day I've had...ever. i was bad. but it's ok now, thank god.
I've put in my two weeks to Windrift. I will be working at Nordstrom in the Point of View section (across from BP in the escondido mall)
I'm looking into trading in my car. SUVs get AWFUL gas mileage.

I'm also making a video diary of my Miss Oceanside events. So far, I've recorded the City of hope charity dinner on the USS Midway, the Oceanside Freedom Days parade and the Miss Coronado Pageant.
P.S. I'm not going to AX this year. For the first time in about 6 years. wow
btw, don't forget tomorrow to not talk on your cell in the car unless youhave a headset or a speakerphone.
OH YEAH!!! I have an exam tomorrow (I already finished the take-home portion) that is open note and open book. yay! and I actually GET what's on the test.

yeah, yesterday I was in a really sad mood, mucho triste and all that. Basically, I'm not doing AX backstage anoymore because of some excuse, I dunno, AND when I applired to Four Seaons, I basically got brushed off, which is so frusterting!
but today I am feeling MUCH better!!
Jessica (my third princess) and I had a meeting last night with Lion's Club to discuss the ideas wWe had for this year. We want to host a Queen's tea and silent auction, and a girld scout pagenat. Basically in this pageant, they would come for a day, it would be a charge of like, $20 per girl. By the end of the day, each girl who participated would get a badge, and a panel of judges would choose a winning troup. This troup would get etiquette lessons and will probably join us in some parade or somehting, not sure yet. The idea is to introduce ourselves to the girls and teach them what it really means to be a lady , not what tv or magazines are teaching them. The hope is that soemday, they, too can particpate in pageants and use what they've learned from us to be confident, successful you ladies who are an asset to the society.
yay.
but the things I'm MOST excited about!!! EEH! Cupcakes for a Cause. It's an idea that I had that would raise money for a local charity and include cupcakes and tiaras. ha, basically, how it's going to work is that at the San Diego county fair, a bakery will be set up, and for 1 day, they will be selling special cupcakes with tiaras and wands (and probably some sporty stuff, as that's the theme for the fair this year) and the proceeds from these cupcakes goes toward Becky's House. In exchange, this bakery gets some extra laboreres who will work for free and bring people to their booth with the help of their sparkly crowns. I already have Miss Lakeside, Miss Teen Lakeside, Miss Julien and Miss Teen Julienwho are interested in helping, and I JUST sent out the email! oh I'm so excited!!!
anyway, so yeah, I guess now I have to find a hotel room for AX. Anybody looking for a roomie?
*edit* YAY!!!! I passed History with a "B"!!! I didn't even do the 5 page research paperfinal, haha woo-hoo!

yaaay! so elegance sentme home with a packet of stuff to sign and fill out, they are going to sign me as one of their talent, yay! sad news is, they said that the market here in SD for actors is not too good. not at all.
Billy called me from Japan. That crazy guy, he called at 4:30 in the morning! his time, not mine, it was about noon here. but still!!! crazy! I feel loved

oh my goodness, thank you so much for all of your congratulations. you guys are the best.
I'm sorry to chrissy, you're fantastic, and i am lame. I promise to make it up to you.

I have been SO BUSY. I'm looking for another job with more fexiblity, but don't tell my work. haaaa.
I'm sooo stoked for AX, I'm getting my sewing machine back sometime this week, so I can start on stuff. I don't really have any specific plans besides the masq, but we'll see. haa
I also gave my resume and headshot to Elegance. and Billy is totally down with helping me reach my goals as a performing artist. Hahah he called me at like 12:30 am the other night and talked for like an hour and a half(he asked if her could through text and I said yeah) anyway, he said he's enamoured with me and that i have a......thing. A thing that makes people notice when i walk in the room, he said I'm talented and cute and american and pure and natural and stuff. I'm so excited because it really meant a lot to me to make an impression on him. He's trained some pertty successful people, which is why it means a TON when he says this stuff. I don't think my dad understands it, tho. Billy also says I need a "backer" someone who is wiling to fund me for the next few months. I dunno, he wants me to evaluate what I really want. I guess he's also having a class thing in Pasadena this Summer on Sundays that he wants me to go to. He says he can have some pretty important people come through that he wants to introduce me to. he says that if i commit to it and put my whole heart and soul into it that I can do a LOT in the next year or so. He said that in 10 years or so, he'll be able to back me, and totally willing to do it, I guess he has faith in me. Right now, he said he's not financially set up for that kind of backing and that he is way too busy to do so as well. He leaves on Wednesday for Japan., so no lessons for the next 3 weeks ;.; he's going to Japan to teach a group of students to sing. They usually come out here twice a year and now they're paying him to go out there. that's so awosme. I'm jealous.I want to go to Japan. take meeeeee.
I really feel like I can be successful. Learning from Billy has really helped my self esteem. Not that i'm stuck up or anything. I don't think I'm spectacular, but it really means a lot that there are people who are willing to invest in me with their time and money. Winning miss Oceanside really helped too. And my success at work (which has come with everything but a raise). And I feel great that it isn't all based on looks and talent, but that it's my personality as well. I really care and like people, and I guess that helps in lots of different ways.
but please please don't think i'm saying all this to be like "I'm so amazing" because I don't think I am. I just feel like I'm sitting on the verge of a clif and am getting ready to jump. But like in The Sandman, i'm not sure whether or not I'll fall or fly, but i feel like I just may fly. But what if I don't?

Eric started his job at Nordstrom in sales or womane's shoes. Tomorrow is his frist actual day on the floor. We got him a new suit and he look SO HANDSOME in it. like woah. he gets a 20% discount, and will probably make nice money there, he's good with people and is handsommmmme. I def had to pry him out of his "navy suit white shirt" grandpa sense of style. He has a niiice black suite and now he owns an orange dress shirt, and a maroon and a grey one (I was really against grey at first, but with bright/dark ties, it works). I wish he liked teal, it looks so good on him. ANYWAY...

I am participating in the MS walk on April 19th. So I saw Vantage Point today. It was good, I liked it, a bit predictable, but good. Everytime that bomb went off, tho I started crying. I don't understand why people would want to hurt other people. I don't think I ever will.
anyway, I signed up for the miss oceanside pageant again. and I'm auditioning for Legoland on the 20th. yay me. anyways. other then that, I've been quite hard to get a hold of, and for that, I apoogize.
btw, mommy, I have something for you, when I see you next, i'll give to you.

and Billy Purnell ( http://www.voicetraining.com/clients.htm ) called last week. I've been on his waitlist for like 2 years, and my dad said he'd help pay for lesson from him! I've never had voice lessons before! I'm nervous tho, what if he thinks I suck? what if I sing all wrong and when I try to sing the right way I'm awful? aaaah.
but yeah, my goal for this year: travel I want to get to WDW sometime after the fall .It's a long way away because 1) I have to save 2) it too hot and crowded in the summer x.x
